Specification
AEROVISION type
aluminum modular panel system designed to resist 120 mph (195km/h) winds.
The panel system is made of an assembly of dual section AEROVISION 300 polyester
powder coated extrusion (300 mm (12'') high ) mounted in two sections and
offered in a choice of standard colors.
Posts are
made of elliptical shape aluminum poles (to increase resistance) equipped
with rivenuts on inner flat face to provide anchorage for the extrusion.
Poles to be baked, polyester powder coated. Engineer calculations to be
provided upon request.
Welding should
comply with the W47.2 W59 standard.
Decorative
upper panel (optional)
The decorative
upper panels of each section should be made of a double layer aluminum
section assembled together with attachment splitters.
Installation
The modular
panel system should be installed on a 406 mm (16'') dia. tubular concrete
base with 1524 mm (60'') deep reinforcement rod or on a 102 mm (4'') high
reinforced concrete floating slab.
Contractor
must detain all appropriate licenses and must comply with all prescribed
regulations stated in the MTQ Traffic control devices manual, Vol V, last
edition regarding installation.
