These delineators are mainly used to channelize or to separate traffic of different kind (car/bike or pedestrian). Their main feature is their heavy duty recovery system which allows the post to yield under impact and recover its initial position; thus preventing impact on cyclist or pedestrian.

MATERIAL

• Impact resistant PVC tube, U.V. protected
• Top extremity caped or flattened on the last 350 mm of top section
• 60 mm diameter
• 5 mm wall thickness

Recorery system components :

• 150 or 250 lbs spring
• 1/4'' stainless steel torsion cable joining the two conical high resistant element

Reflective band

Four (4) reflective bands 75 mm wide spaced every 50 mm are embedded in the material for better sheeting protection.

Reflective band is available in two type of reflectivity.
High intensity or fluo diamond grade

Type 101 (for solid ground)

Type 101 base should be used on asphalt pavement installation. It is either anchored or epoxy glued to the surface. The joint is bolted to the 101 base.

Type 105 (for inground installation)

Type 105 base is made of T shape steel profile to which the joint is fixed by welding.

Type 107

Type 107 base is used to be permanently embedded into asphalt pavement. Aluminium casted, it is glued in place with epoxy adhesive. The joint is then bolted to the 107 base.
