B52-Q Traffic channelizer

Presentation

The B52-Q Traffic Channelizer meets the MTQ T-RV-6 . It has been designed to offer a good effeciency in local road work safety by maximizing the security of road workers and drivers in an impact situation.

Its light weight combined with its capacity to be re-used after an impact make it easier to use and more economical than the metal channelizer.

Characteristics

Molded in polyethylene, the B52-Q is a cone shape drum with a diameter going from 300 mm at top to 370 mm at base and a height of 1000 mm. High intensity reflective stripes are installed all around from the top over 750 mm according to the MTQ specifications. Anchoring is acheived by installing a rubber sidewall tire base made of recycled tires. The whole set has been designed to split when hit by a vehicle in such a way that it absorbs the impact and does not become a dangerous projectile for road workers. It can be easily reassembled to base to be used again resisting up to twenty high speed impacts without being destroyed.
