The B54-Q Traffic Channelizer meets the MTQ T-RV-2, T-RV-6 and T-RV-7. It has been designed to offer the maximum effeciency in road work safety by maximizing the security of road workers and drivers in an impact situation.

Its light weight combined with its capacity to be re-used after an impact make it easier to use and more economical than the metal channelizer.

Characteristics

Molded in polyethylene, the B54-Q is a cone shape drum with a diameter going from 300 mm at top to 400 mm at base and a height of 1200 mm. Reflective stripes are installed all around from the top over 900 mm according to the MTQ specifications. Anchoring is acheived by installing a rubber sidewall tire base made of recycled tires. The whole set has been designed to split when hit by a vehicle in such a way that it absorbs the impact and does not become a dangerous projectile for road workers. It can be easily reassembled to base to be used again resisting up to twenty high speed impacts without being destroyed.
