Kamelion Texto Radar Speed Feedback Sign

The Kamelion-Texto speed radar display sign offers so many advantages over conventional speed displays. Its screen allows you to display 320 mm (12.5″) 3 digits in green, yellow or red, which improves drivers’ perception reaction time. The full matrix text box of the traffic sign will display preprogrammed or programmable pictograms, emoji or text messages that interact positively with drivers. Two built-in RRFBs can be set if needed to alert when excessive overspeeding is reached. These three elements make the Kamelion-Texto educational sign one of the most efficient speed reduction tools on the market.

ADJUSTABLE STAND-ALONE RADAR

Allows a perfect orientation of the radar with the traffic flow, increasing accuracy of data collection. With the screen turned off, it becomes a spy-mode traffic analyzer. cAN collect traffic data while displaying speeds or messages.

CONTROL MENU ON THE RADAR

Allows you to quickly program speeds, pictograms, RRFBs and data collection. (Also programmable via Bluetooth)

TWO BUILT-IN SUPER POWERFUL STROBES

Programmable if needed for excessive speeding drivers. Blink alternately to simulate an emergency light and encourage drivers to slow down. Compliant with the MUTCD standard.

320 x 480 mm (12.5″ x 19″) FULL-MATRIX “SPEED” DISPLAY

Displays digits with a height of 320 mm (12.5″).
Readable at a maximum distance of 150 meters. The color of the figures varies according to the speed. Displays up to 3 digits.

160 x 480 mm (6.25″ x 19″) FULL-MATRIX “TEXT MESSAGE” DISPLAY

Displays text with a height of 160 mm.
Readable at a maximum distance of 75 m (246ʹ) RGB screen that displays 7 colors.
The message varies depending on the speed.

Educational Speed Display

The KAM-SMART function makes configuration fast and easy. A digital screen is integrated into the radar, so the user car selects speed ranges pictograms data collection and strobe activation. The pictograms and color speed display create an educational interaction with the road user. Turning on a speed display has never been easier if necessary the KAM-TOOL software allows you to customize the pictograms and define the speed ranges according to a schedule.
